Since when does Kylo Ren give two flips about someone dying?!? Since Rey.

He’s not upset that she sliced his face up and could have killed him. He’s not swearing swift & deadly revenge when next they meet. He’s not acting like every other jilted male ego in the universe and cursing her for not accepting his “oh so tempting” offer of apprenticeship.

No.

He’s annoyed that she pitied him… he’s disgusted that she ran off to cradle Finn instead of looking out for number one and getting the hell out of dodge… he’s dumbfounded by these acts because he has been groomed for so long to loathe sentiment. But damn if he doesn’t show his own form of sentiment for Rey. Ever since he met her he is unknowingly sneaking baby steps outside his perceived comfort zone.

She could have easily killed Kylo for what he did to Han and Finn. He knows that. He was afraid. And yet she didn’t do it. I think super down deep this choice touched him in some way *cough* and perhaps made the force bond with her stronger *cough cough*

Reylo is so painfully obvious in the film *and* both novels. Even if it’s much more on his part than hers (for now) all I can hope is that Reylo’s here to stay cuz damn it makes me happy ❤️

The craziest thing is the fact that he wasn’t thinking “oh shit i’m gonna die here”. He was thinking about what Rey thinks of him and more like “oh shit she’s gonna die here. Oh well, she’s a fool for caring about the traitor.”
